Therapy for people who feel like the “black sheep”

Hi, I’m Thorin Holley, a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I created Black Sheep Therapy to support people who have always felt a little different — the ones who don’t quite fit into the mold, and aren’t sure they want to.
A lot of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, trauma, or patterns that feel hard to break — even when they’re doing their best.
My approach is collaborative, direct, and focused on helping you better understand yourself while building practical tools for change.
Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about making sense of your experiences and finding a way forward that actually fits who you are.
And while I take the work seriously, I don’t believe therapy has to feel heavy all the time. I tend to bring a grounded, real-world approach — and yes, a bit of humor when it fits. (I sometimes joke that sarcasm is one of my love languages.)
If you’re looking for a space where you don’t have to pretend to have it all together, you’re in the right place - and we can start from there.
Therapy tailored to help you understand yourself, break patterns, and move forward in a way that actually fits who you are. you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behavior, and develop strategies for positive change.
You find yourself stuck in loops of worry, second-guessing, or feeling on edge more often than you’d like.
You’ve been impacted by experiences that still show up in your thoughts, reactions, or relationships.
You may be struggling with substance use, or trying to change your relationship with alcohol or drugs—even if part of you isn’t sure where to start. We can work together to understand what’s driving it and build more sustainable ways forward.
You’re not where you want to be, but you’re not sure how to move forward.
You want clarity—about your patterns, your emotions, and how to actually create change.
If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, the next step is simple. Reach out, and we’ll figure out what makes sense for you.
